Since small age I was passionate in agriculture and was a very active member in the college agriculture society during the school career. Graduated from Faculty of Agriculture, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka specializing horticulture and landscape gardening. Upon graduation in 2016, got the opportunity to visit USA to study organic farming and permaculture. After returning to Sri Lanka in 2017, decided to become an entrepreneur and started organic agriculture consulting firm named ABBA Agri Consultancy (www.abbaconsultancy.com) and organic retail market chain named OWITA Organics (www.owita.lk) . Both companies created more than 20 employment opportunities now and successfully working with more than 100 small holder farmers, government, private and international organizations in the areas of organic farming, farm management, climate smart agriculture solutions and serving more than 1000 organic consumers through organic retail market and e commerce platforms. Apart from that I am an active member of Sri Lanka Good Market Organic PGS moment, heading agriculture innovations at Dilmah Ceylon Tea Company and represent IFOAM Asia as an organic youth ambassador.
